Which garage door brands do you service?
All major garage door and opener brands, including Clopay, LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, and Wayne Dalton, plus our own GDS line. We stock common parts on every truck, so most repairs finish in one visit.
What areas do you serve, and is there a travel charge?
We cover London and roughly 50 km around it across Middlesex, Elgin, and Oxford counties — including St. Thomas, Strathroy, Woodstock, Ingersoll, Aylmer, Dorchester, and Komoka. There is no travel surcharge anywhere in our service area.
Are you open on weekends and after hours?
Our regular hours are Monday to Friday 8 AM to 11 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM (closed Sunday). We also offer 24/7 emergency service every day of the year, with no extra after-hours fee.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Every repair and installation is backed by a 1-year warranty on parts and labour, and new doors and openers carry their manufacturer warranties on top. We are fully licensed and insured.
What happens when I book a visit?
We confirm the appointment by phone or text before sending a technician. On arrival, the tech diagnoses the problem and gives you a firm, all-in price before any work starts. Most repairs are completed the same visit because the common parts are already on the truck.
What payment methods do you take, and do you offer financing?
We accept standard payment methods, due on completion. Flexible payment options are available on larger repairs and new installs — ask your technician or see our financing page to discuss the terms currently available.
Do I need to replace one spring or both?
If your door uses two springs and one has broken, we usually recommend replacing both. They wear at the same rate, so a second break is often close behind, and doing the pair saves a second service call. Your technician will explain what makes sense for your door before any work begins.
Is it safe to fix a garage door spring myself?
No — torsion and extension springs are under extreme tension and can cause serious injury if released or handled incorrectly. Spring and cable work should always be done by a trained technician with the right tools. Call (519) 933-3384 and we will handle it safely.
How much does a new garage door cost, and how long does it take?
New residential door installation starts at $1,499, depending on size, material, and insulation. We measure, order, and install steel, aluminum, glass, and carriage-style doors. Most standard installs are completed in a few hours once the door is in.
My opener stopped working — do I need a new one?
Not always. Many opener problems come down to a worn gear, a bad sensor, or a logic-board fault that we can repair from $189. If the unit is old or beyond economical repair, we will give you replacement options up front, including quiet belt-drive and smart openers.
Do you service commercial garage doors?
Yes. We service and install commercial and overhead doors for London-area businesses, including rolling steel doors, sectional doors, and high-cycle setups. Commercial work is quoted to the job — contact us for a custom quote.
